Battery Capacity & Autonomy
Calculate required battery capacity for a given load and autonomy time, applying Peukert correction for high discharge rates.
Units:
Peukert's law: high discharge rates reduce effective capacity. A 100Ah battery at 20h rate delivers 100Ah, but at 1h rate may deliver only 55Ah. Lead-acid Peukert exponent n approx 1.1-1.3, Li-ion n approx 1.02-1.05.
C_required = (I_load x t_auto) / DoD | Peukert: C_p = C20 x (I20/I)^(n-1)
