💡AWG works inversely: the lower the number, the thicker the wire. AWG 4/0 is the thickest common size (~107 mm²). AWG 22 ≈ 0.34 mm² used in signal wiring. In Europe we use mm² — more intuitive as it directly represents the cross-sectional area.
